Why Frames?

The first time you came to this site you probably went “Holy _________ it’s made out of frames.”
Ok, I enjoy website design a lot, but I wanted this website to be simple. I also wanted it to look half-ways decent, but still be simple. It also needed to be functional.
“Frames, functional?”
Yes. (I hope.)
“So, why did you use frames, again?”
Ok, just browse the site, and see how it looks. At this point in its design, it’s looking pretty dang snazy. Of course, I’m not done yet, but I’ve got my fingers crossed.
Basically, on this site I want to present my words/articles, not my website design.
