Rock Climbing at Mt. Yonah
Waking up at 5:30 (yes, am) to go climbing at Yonah. I felt super groggy, so I took a picture. Yep, looked as groggy as I felt
View from the lower landing zone, as the sun rises behind me.
Looking up from the lower landing zone to the main face of Yonah.
So I got up at 5:30, drove an hour and 15 min., hiked in a half an hour plus... and they're still sleeping. Seriously!
She's a cutie!
Chris and Chrissy making breakfast... and my gear, itching to get used.
Chris's rope after leading the lowers 3, waiting for Chrissy to second it.
The lowers four... my first onsight on real rock! Yeah, it was only a 5.6 though.
The sun FINALLY hitting the lowers, and we actually start feeling some warmth! It turned into a GORGEOUS day!
Route 1A, it heads right up the nose of that arete. I onsighted it... it was a really interesting route. 5.5
It was such a sweet day of climbing! My first leads on real rock, and just an awesome time with Summer & friends!

Feature at the 441 trails
This was a feature at the 441 trails. Now if I had composed this better, it may have been a quality photograph.

College Applications
So as I again apply for various random institutions of higher education, I've realized that I can't write any more. Seriously.
Either that or I am just having a horrible time with procrastination and just getting the words that I need to say out. I feel like the last time I applied for colleges it took me a loooong time, so maybe this isn't nearly as bad as I thought it was. But seriously, I'm having a lot of trouble pounding this out, or pounding anything out lately. I don't even feel like writing emails anymore, and even when I write those I feel illiterate or uneducated. Ugh.

Some updates
So Summer and I got to rock climb yesterday with a couple of friends... and it was a total blast! It was a great relief to get out and enjoy the outdoors... we've both been working like crazy, just trying to make it through the day and it was great to get out and climb, which we have been wanting to do for a looong time. Hopefully next week we can get out too! There'll be some pictures coming...
And in other sport related news, I ran today, and it felt really good! I've been trying to run more... but easier said than done!
There's been a lot of other stuff going on, too. So yeah.

The New Dew Logo
So maybe I'm starting to get old and dislike change, but I personally think the new Mountain Dew logo is kinda lame. Seriously now... they just changed it like two or three years ago, and that wasn't too bad, but now this I think may be over the top.
