I would rather write blog posts than my philosophy midterm

Well it is quite true: I would rather write blog posts than my philosophy midterm.  I have a 7 page paper that I should be writing for philosophy class, but I'm procrastinating.  My mind is consumed with trying to overcome the formidable obstacles between no-name blogger and famous professional blogger.  It is going to be a long, long journey my friends.  Why I can't get it out of my head, I don't know.  Maybe that's just the way I am. 

Writing about yourself and what you think, what you feel, what experiences you've had, and what your opinions are is SO much easier than trying to draft a 7 page research-oriented quotation-laden paper about a myriad of philisophical topics that aren't much more than abstract thoughts pinballing around inside my head. 

That and I'm good at procrastinating.

But procrastination is the last thing I need to be doing, because with this new job and all, I have so little time to work with that it's not even funny.  The least I could be doing is reading some of my philosophy book in order to get a better grip on everything that's going on, and to catch up on all the reading that I missed. 

Dang midterm paper.

Why couldn't we just have a test?  Although I suppose having a take-home paper should be easier, the simple magnitude required from us is staggering. 

Oh well, I should get back down on it.  Later.

back from north carolina and it was awesome! Snowed several images while we were up there. pretty disappointed about the @weather forecast for dahlonega this week. Guess it's going to be all about muddy forest roads@

back from the honeymoon and it was amazing!

spent all day setting up for the wedding and hanging decorations. looks sweet, and only 3 DAYS TO GO!!!

I have a great many photos (most all bike related) to upload for you all to see, but due to the business of life (most of which stems from the fact that we only have 17 MORE DAYS 'TILL WE GET MARRIED!!!), they are not yet live on the internet. But good things are happening!

Sumter National Forest... Officially DOMINATED!

Destroyed 61 miles of singletrack in the last 1 1/2 days over in Sumter National Forest, South Carolina. It was awesome and so much fun, but at times it was also hellishly cold. Well, it's over now. Back to life and work.

South Carolina

I'm heading over to South Carolina tonight after youth group. Gonna hit up some gnarly singletrack over the next couple of days, read my bible and some other books, and just take a break from the internet, work, responsibilities, and people. It's going to be amazing!

And it's going to be too short.

But we're not supposed to get any significant rain all morning, so should still be an ok day for my first day back on the bike in 3 weeks!

I am so totally going riding tomorrow morning! It's been like three days since I've been out... way too stinking long! i'll probably go hit up harbins park. i've been meaning to get back there ever since that first ride i did out there. Yeh I'm stoked to go back and schralp that freeride section!
