Another Loser Anthem (Good Charlotte)
Yeah!...here we go.
It's a new day, but it all feels old
It's a good life, that's what I'm told
But everything, it all just feels the same
At my high school, it felt more to me like a jail cell, a
penitentiary
My time spent there it only made me see
That I don't ever wanna be like you
I don't wanna do the things you do
I'm never gonna hear the words you say
and I don't ever wanna.
I don't ever wanna be.you.
don't wanna be just like you
What I'm saying is this is the anthem
throw all your hands up
you.don't wanna be you
Go to college, a university, get a real job
That's what they said to me
But I could never live the way they want
I'm gonna get by and just do my time
Out of step while they all get in line
I'm just a minor threat, so pay no mind
Do you really want to be like them,
Do you really wanna be another trend,
Do you wanna be part of that crowd
cause I don't ever wanna.
I don't ever want to be you.
don't wanna be just like you
what I'm saying is.this is the anthem
throw all your hands up.you.
don't wanna be you.
(Shake it once, that's fine, shake it twice that's okay.
shake it 3 times your playing with yourself again.)
you.
don't wanna be just like you,
what I'm saying is..this is the anthem
throw all your hands up
y'll got the feeling, sing if you're with me
you.don't wanna be just like you (just like you)
This is the anthem, throw all your hands up
y'll got the feeling, sing if your with me
Another loser anthem (whoa) 4x

Female Lingerie and Slam Dancing
Due to a little persuasion from my dad and my lightning fast reflexes, I now find myself the proud owner of an article of women's lingerie. It has been years and years since I was at a wedding, and back in the day I never caught the garter. Well this time, I did. What I'm going to do with it, I'm not totally sure. My dad says that you're supposed to hang it from your rear view mirror, to show that you're available and looking, but honestly, I don't think I could drive around with lingerie visible through my windshield. Seriously now!
My dad ALSO said that traditionally the girl who caught the bouquet and the guy that caught the garter had to dance. Really, what is up with traditions such as these? Incredibly awkward! Especially since I don't dance (unless you're talking slam-dancing).
That's the most I am going to say on this topic. As anyone reading Randomer has probably noticed, I try not to write about relationships with the fairer sex. That would just get me into too many sticky situations.

Death at Lifest
In case you had not heard, a teenage girl died on the ride "Air Glory," and it has made news everywhere, including CNN and MSNBC. We all heard about the accident, and it seemed to be the "talk of the town" if you will, and I remember saying "Man, it would suck to die at Lifest." Well, she ended up dieing. We were around the ride every day, and yet, the whole thing seemed really surreal. I didn't know her, and no one in our group new her, no one I know saw the accident or the ambulances or anything, so it was hard to be very sad.
Wow, only 16 years old. She had so much left to live! I mean, I've lived two years longer than that, and I still feel like I have so much left in life to experience! Her youth pastor said that she was a strong Christian, and that she was on fire for God. And yet, God decided to take her to be with Him.
I find it confusing, to have one so young die in a freak accident. It wasn't anything that she did, and yet she paid the price. Or maybe she didn't. She's in heaven, so maybe it is a good thing that she died. Wait, a good thing that she died? I don't know. I'm not entirely sure what to think about it. I, and everyone involved, will just have to trust God on this one.

Rival Factions
I've been I huge Project 86 fan for years and years, and I am uber stoked for their upcoming album, Rival Factions. They've posted 3 new songs on their myspace, and I've been listening to them over the past several weeks/months. In my opinion, they are absolutely phenomenal! I remember a bit of a blog that Project 86 posted some months in which they claimed that "Some of you may think that you know what a Project 86 album sounds like, but you'll be in for a big change with the next offering!" (or something to that effect.) Well, they were not kidding! From the preview tracks that have been posted, the new album is significantly heavier than everything that they have put out since Drawing Black Lines. Actually, now that I think about it... it is rather Black Lines esque. Enough of my rambling, go check it out for yourself!

The end of all things will be televised
Along with being an excellent Norma Jean song, much of what has made up my life over the past four years is coming to an end. Last night was my last night of work at IGA, after 4 years and 1 month of employment. Tonight was the senior banquet, and was host to a number of ULTRA-hilarious acts (I will never take Mr. V seriously EVER again!), along with the senior video. The video mostly showed my class during their elementary years and during prom (both of which are times when I was notably absent). Nevertheless, the end of my high school career was, in fact, televised. So yes, the end was televised.
