New Tires
So I did end up getting4 new tires like I needed to this past Monday. They were expensive. Cars are expensive. Don't get one.... just ride your bike.

Driving up to Johnson Peak/Trixie Pass TH
Some gorgeous shots from the drive up to the trailhead this past fall. These were taken early in the morning, and wow, Montana is beautiful!

Commuting by bike
So tuesday I rode 13 miles into Brett's on my bike, because my car wasn't working... that was intense.
And then yesterday I rode 10 miles to go pick up my car from the shop. All this riding around really made me wish that I actually lived in the city, so it would be feasible for me to ride everywhere I need to go. But as it is, my car is back up and running, so I guess I'm just burning through gasoline again.
But all of this riding around made me think of bikeathens and made me think that it is a very noble cause that they are championing. To help that out, be sure to check out this post about buying coffee and riding bikes.

Snow on the back of the Grand Prix.
Snow (in Georgia!!) on the back of the Grand Prix, which is currently in the shop because it is all janked up. More $$ down the chute in repairs.

Jamis Dakar XLT 1.0
The Jamis, with some mud on it. I like this one... which is why I am giving it its own post. Was posted here. But isn't that a stinking sweet mountain bike? Yeh, I know. AND I got a screaming deal on it. AND I have dished out punishment and it has held up nicely. Sure, I've shredded some of the components... but that happens.
