Like a Locked Up Garden
Our youth group's fall retreat, the Fall Fantastico, just got over with. I calculated that I was down at the Grotto for 25 hours straight, and only about 6 or 7 of those hours were sleep. We did a whole lot of stuff.
We played loads of Halo and other xbox games, played hack, played foosball, played Settlers of Catan, played some more, watched a big long video series on relationship stuff and sex, and I am just out of energy. I think I'll sleep well tonight.
I thought I had something more profound to say. I think I'm just really stinking tired. I have a mahoosive english essay to write tomorrow, and that is going to be a pain.

PS
I applied to UWSP today! Huzzah, I finally have a college application in!
I Love Snow!
A lot has been going on, and I have been super busy.
Items of note:
Yesterday was the first time that we had snow on the ground! It was there when I woke up, but then melted during the day. It pretty much snowed all day and night, but there wasn't much accumulation. But I am super pumped for skiing! Totally absolutely stoked! I am ready, very ready.... ready to go skiing.
Tonight, among other things I got to go and drive stick with Pastor Steve. It was only my 2nd time, but by the end of it I was doing pretty dang decent. I wish one of my parents had a car that I could practice on, but we don't. Its totally awesome that Pastor Steve has let me practice in their car. That was really cool.
What else? I have way too much homework. I'm sick of school blah blah, normal normal. Blehgarum.

Football
I should really be doing homework right now, but I'm too busy screwing around/talking to people on the internet.
Today we played football after church, and it was a whole lot of fun! All of my best friends were there, so it was a pretty good game. My team won for the first time, and I caught quite a few passes and didn't drop too many. It was pretty stinking good.
Other than that, the highlight of my weekend was drinking that thing of Sunny Delight last night. MM that was good! I'll have to buy another one tomorrow night. Nah, maybe not. Mountainboarding was sweet. Hm, I'm tired, even though it isn't very late.
October 21st, 2006
Sunny Delight
I drank a thing of Sunny Delight at work today. It was like 80% off, and I was like: "64 ounces for 99 cents? I can't turn that down!" So I drank the whole thing. That was awesome! Now THIS blog has something of substance in it! By the way, it was the Orange/Strawberry SunnyD, and I highly recommend it.
Before work I went skiing in my back yard, worked on a mountainboarding video, and actually went mountainboarding for the first time in like forever! It was great to get out and ride. I hit Sardine Hill, and I think I have finally conquered it. I only fell like once, so I pretty much dominated that hill. I have conquered! Woot woot!
I really can't wait to go skiing. Skiing is my life, and I'm living a lie at the moment... because I haven't skied in about 6 months! GAR! I need some snow, yo!
PS I've been peeing like crazy from that Sunny D.

Skateboarding
Well I just got home a bit ago from the Plumbline hayride/bonfire. It was interesting, to say the least. Pretty decent overall.
Afterwards I ended up going to the skatepark and actually skateboarding in the skatepark for the first time ever! It was pretty fun. I could roll in right off the bat, and I learned how to drop in on a small lip. I haven't dropped in on a quarter pipe yet... maybe next time. But yeah that was a load of fun!
I'm hoping to go mountainboarding tomorrow morning before work. We'll see how that all pans out.
This is a lame blog. My blogs are lame. I am not in a writing mood.

No time
OK I really have to make this fast because it is late. Anyhow lately I have been really busy with an insane amount of school work, work, and trying to keep up with everything else. I'm getting really slack at writing, and it stinks. Pretty much all the writing I've been doing has been for Advanced Composition and college applications. Gar, college applications! I don't like college applications. Talk about a pain in the butt!
Right now I'm listening to an Earth Crisis (RIP) greatest hits cd, its pretty stinking awesome. The only time I had ever really heard Earth Crisis was this one song called "Slither" on Down and Dirty, and so one day I was at a used game store looking through the music and I was like "Hey, its Earth Crisis! I've totally been looking for that cd!" So I picked it up. Its pretty sweet. Like 90's metal/hardcore type stuff. Sweet sweet. Not much swearing, its pretty decent. Yeah I like it.
What else? I'm tired. I should be sleeping. We have prayer group early tomorrow morning. I've had no time to do anything. Like today. Go to school, work my bum off like mad all day at school trying to get my rough draft for my persuasive essay written. After school, 5 hours of work. I get home, and then I have calculus homework to do. Isn't that sick? No time... absolutely none!
Hmm other nastiness. Its that time of year again where I get totally pissed off at school and everything else, and all I want to do is ski but I can't go skiing because there isn't any snow, and the weather is nasty so when I don't work I can't go mountainboarding, and every day its nice it seems like I have to work... and did I mention I want to go skiing?
Yeah, I really really want to go skiing. Snow is in the air: I can feel it! I am so ready to start hitting the slopes, you have no freaking idea! (Unless you know me well)
Slither!
Yeah slither just started. My favorite song on this album (the song I bought it for). My 2nd fav is "Killing Brain Cells".
I love messing up punc.tu.-ation. Mr worachek can't take off points now, can he?? ha WOOT!!
My blogs are so random. I hope you don't get lost on your way to the end.
"From the beginning we search for the end, from the beginning once again." thats a Subseven (RIP) quote.
Goodnight.

About the hockey game that I went to... sort of.

Totally Sucky
It is just about halfway through our four day weekend, and I really haven't done much at all. Thursday I went with my fam to Marshfield, and worked for 5 hours. After workI got in on some settlers of Catan action. Sweet.
Today, I played a whole lot of Settlers of Catan, changed my oil (in the sweet car that you can see in the blog from 2 days ago) and did homework this evening. I also watched 1 VS 100, and that was pretty entertaining. Dang, I'm watching way too much TV lately. I'm turning into a lazy bum.
How totally sucky is this blog? I think in like an hour I'll try to write something cool.

This Just in
I just did one of those random quiz things on "what extreme sport should you try?" totally expecting it to be lame, but i have totally wanted to try base jumping for a while now!
You Should Try Base Jumping |
One of the most dangerous extreme sports Illegal, potentially legal - but totally worth the risk |
PS I think it meant "potentially lethal."
Blogging Time.
It is blogging time. Last night I went mountainbiking with a couple of fogies who consistently kick my butt... but it was a lot of fun. One of the old fogies, Dean, who got me into mountainbiking, gave me some tech tips that really helped a lot. That was pretty sweet, but now the hard part is remembering and applying them. But anywho, it was a great ride.
Tonight was pretty insane. It's Wednesday, so it's Plumbline night. Plus, we have a four day weekend coming up so there's no school tomorrow. So it was poker time. I was getting really tired, so I got really stupid... but I still didn't do too badly. Actually, I'm still tired now. I need some sleep. I'm hoping that I can sleep in tomorrow, but I doubt that my body will let me. Yeah.
Actually, I really have nothing, or am too lazy to come up with anything.
Actually, I just thought of a couple of things. I finally got some pictures taken of my car, so I'm going to throw those up in here:
Doesn't my car look good for having 185,000 miles on it?
Actually, I was just looking at them again, and you could see my license plate number in one of them, and since I'm not a complete idiot, I'm deleted it and will edit it before I post it again. You know, just to be on the safe side.
Good night!
P.S. Word for the night was "actually."

Deal, or No Deal
So I just caught the tail end of a “Deal or No Deal” game, and the player got a $137,000 offer from the banker. The odds didn’t look too good, so I was like “take it.” But she didn’t. Then my dad and bro told me that she had gotten a $198,000 offer earlier, but had turned it down. And between the time she had gotten that offer and I started watching, she had knocked out both the $1,000,000 and $750,000 amounts. Anyhow, she didn’t take the $137K, and then knocked out one of the 2 big amounts. Next offer: $97K. Cases available were: the $300, $750, and $500,000. I was like “Hm, maybe take it, maybe not. One in 3 isn’t too bad... but I’m going to just start laughing my head off if she picks the 500 thousand.” And THEN: SHE PICKED THE $500,000! I just started cracking up! It was hilarious! OH MAN, I Loved it! That was great! My entertainment for the evening.
Anyhow onto other news. (But not like its really news.)
What else have I been up to? Saturday night I hung out at Al’s for like 5 hours. We played a couple games of Settlers in that time, and that was pretty fun. Actually that was really fun, I really had a blast. I don’t know if I should write this last part or not. But it didn’t look like Al was having much fun, he seemed like the kids were getting on his nerves. I admit, it was pretty crazy. But I had fun... and thats all that matters, right? No, I’m totally kidding!
Sunday was sweet, I didn’t get hurt playing football. That is definetly awesome. Oh yeah. Right. Now on to what I was going to say about Sunday:
If you really know me, you know that if I go for too long with out working out or doing something physical, I get really pissy and I feel really pent up and I just have to get out and do something.
Well anyhow, I’ve been trying to do some type of work out/physical activity every day that I don’t work (and some of the days that I do.)
So Sunday was sweet, because I got to run around playing touch football (or shove football) for 2 hours, and then I went home and lifted for a while. Yeah, it was pretty much totally awesome.
So tonight I went for a long bike ride, and I was contemplating lifting when I got home. I haven’t yet, but I did pretty much finish up the english essay that I’ve been stressing over for the past four days. Maybe I’ll lift, or maybe I’ll take it easy, go on the internet (and post this(I’m writing on my ancient laptop right now.)), or watch heroes. Horoes. Heroeses. Hercules. Hervest.>>> Haha. Woo randomness. This is getting to be like my journal right now, only more organized with capital letters and more on topic.
Can you believe that? More on topic? Yeah, you really need to read one of my rediculouuusly random journal entries.
Cheerio!!

No Ninjas
Posted in the late afternoon.
Well, I'm thinking of writings something of real substance in here... but I really think it isn't going to happen. (I think I tend to start these out with well wayyy too much.) Anyhow, Thursday evening I went mountainboarding at Bruce Mound, and that was just a blast! Yeah I love mountainboarding. And then last night came around, and I thought I was going to have to caretake Snyder park, and the plan was that Dad was going to take Kaitlynn to camp. So I get home, lift for a while, and then right as they are about to leave for camp, he's like "Hey, do you want to drive Kaitlynn to camp tonight?"
So I ended up doing that. On the way up, I picked up two CD's at Best Buy: mewithoutYou's "Brother, Sister" and He is Legend's "Suck out the Poison. mewithoutYou's new album is totally awesome, but I'm still trying to decided if I like He is Legend's new one. It is really poppy, and his voice sounds really different. It sounds really... I can't really put my finger on it, but at times it sucks, (Ha, get it? Suck out the poison? It sucks!) and at times it rocks.... I'll have to make up my mind some time soon.
So yeah and like when I was going through Eau Claire, I was like "woa, I don't think I've ever been here before." My best guess is that the bypass thingy that they have been working on for ages was done (well, I know its done, I just think that is what I was on) and anyhow that was cool... it looks like a big city, like Duluth or the Twin Cities (not that Eau Claire isn't big.) Anyhow so then I was like "What's the speed limit?" and it was like 65, so I was pleasently surprised. On the way back I had my cruise set at 70 mph all the way through Eau Claire, and I didn't have to touch the pedals until I reached the I94 exit. Never thought I'd be able to do that... it was pretty awesome.
Ha I'm just looking at my "transition" to that paragraph and it reads "so yeah and like when." How sucky is that? Very very. Suck out the poison yo.
Back on topic. I ended up getting to hang out at Cody's for about an hour, so that was sweet.
And then today has been work so far. Tonight should be interesting, though, because Al invited me over for supper... and for a game of settlers.
Also, I would like to share this picture that I noticed on one of my friend's (an actual friend, not a "Myspace friend".)Myspace:
But not like anyone is going to read this anyway (maybe on myspace, but not on Randomer.)
Idiots

Hey Bert
So tonight was Plumbline, and Plumbline is sweet. I was skateboarding afterwards, and it was so much fun! I was doing this sweet bert slide things, and they are just awesome. Its basically like powersliding on a mountainboard, only you don't have to really worry about controlling your slide, so yeah it was awesome!
I also got to shoot a marshmallow gun at some innocent bystanders, that was pretty swell.
I should be sleeping right now, but I'm not.
Hey, this blog is so trivial, it should be categorized as "blogging crapdom."
I washed my car today! It looks so sweet when it's all cleaned up. I did take some pictures, and got some pictures taken of me with it... so I will probably be posting one of those on my blog or on my myspace picture thingy. So huzzah!
Huzzah hurrah!
I went to a science club meeting this morning. That was pretty interesting.
I should really go and get some sleep. Good night everyone that isn't going to read this.

Blood is Cool
I'm sitting in the library during my study hall, and my Accounting 2 class started this stock market competition at wisconsinsms.com, and I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. Brent is explaining it to me, but I think that I'm just bad at it. Maybe if I'd done this before I would have a little bit more of a grasp of what is going on... but at the moment, I am pretty lost.
Hmm, its been a while since I've written a blog. What has happened since last time? Well, Sunday was football at church; that was pretty awesome, except for the part where I got a bloody nose on the last play. I guess that is kinda awesome anyway, though. I always felt out of the loop because I had never had a bloody nose... and now I know what it feels like, and I can say "Yes, I've had a bloody nose before." I also feel really out of the loop because I have never broken a bone before, but I really don't want to be in that loop. I am sure one day membership of the broken bone group will be forced on me, but I will try as hard as possible to remain an outsider.
Not much of significance has happened since then, but tonight I am going to my sister's Cross Country meet. Fun Fun.

Crazy Racoons, Gut Piles, and Almost Dying.
I suppose I should catch up on my newly created blog. Click here to read about my Thursday night escapades.
So that was Thursday. Friday night I went to the homecoming football game. Neillsville dominated. Afterwards, I went over to the Dunham’s, and they taught me this sweet game called “Settlers of Catan.” I highly recommend it. I killed them my first time playing. I’m not entirely sure if the set me up to win or not, but I won by a big margin. Al made some sweet malts. MMM those were delish!
So today I went out to Snyder park to do caretaker stuff, and some camper said that there was a crazy racoon in the pit toilet. He took me to go check it out, and I didn’t hear or see anything. I think he’s crazy. It was probably his but making all the noise. There was also a hunter who didn’t register his campsite, but he wasn’t there so I couldn’t yell at him. But ok, get this: he gutted his deer right next to the campsite. Like RIGHT next to it. He better clean up that gut pile, because it was already stinking when I was there. But really, how would you clean one of those up? A scoop shovel, I suppose. I sure wouldn’t want to do it. Nastycore.
Anyhow, after that, I went mountainbiking out at Levis. That was sweet. I tried to descend Pile Driver, and I only feel twice. My first fall was like a perfect endo, and I landed smack on a rock with my head. It didn’t hurt, and I was like “Huh, good thing I was wearing my helmet,” and hopped on my bike and kept going. Later, I was thinking about the possible outcomes if I hadn’t been wearing my helmet:
Best case senario: I would be lying on the ground unconscious, bleeding, with a concussion.
Worst case senario: I would be dead.
That made me pause for a second. And it was true, too. Good thing I was wearing my helmet (I always wear my helmet when I mountainboard, mountainbike, ski, or snowboard.) So wear your helmet kids!
And then to finish off the day, I worked at IGA for six hours. Talk about fun.
September 27th, 2006
Tonight was pretty much awesome. I got to vacum (sp?) out my car! Yeh son!
It did really need to get done, though. So I finally did it! I'm waiting to wash my car until after homecoming, though. You never know... someone might get some bright idea into their head, and decided to do some naughty things to Goo's car. (Lol as I was typing that, I accidentally hit p so it became Goop's Doesn't that look awesome? Goop. Don't start calling me that now!)
But Plumbline was sweet, sweet sweet sweet. Sweet Sweet. I'm loving Plumbline more than ever. And I'm loving being a senior!
Oh wait, I'm getting ahead of myself. There was something significant that happened before school ended, and that was See You At The Pole. I knew see you at the pole was going down, but I didn't know until Alan drove away that I (and Nathan and Kaitlynn and Brent) was supposed to (or were supposed to) anyhow he wasn't doing it. We were. So we had a little thing to follow, but it was almost better that we didn't know until like right then, because then at least I didn't get any jitters, so yeah it came, and went, and went well! So thank the Lord.
Now back to Plumbline. Lots of cool people showed up, fun games, pretty interesting message, pretty good hang out time afterward (except for the awkwardness which only a few of you know about) but the awkwardness remains anonymous. A Nanny Mouse. But Plumbline was uber sweet, and I made $24 an hour wearing a dress. It came out to a total of $2, but it was probably the easiest 2 dollars I have ever made! And, they didn't get a picture of me, so it never happened. Because, if anyone asks in the future, I will say that I just made this up, and I'm telling you this because I really did make it up so ha! Prove it! (But don't ask me to prove it didn't happen, because we learned in Advanced Science that proving the negative is almost impossible, or at least not feasible.) So yeah no proving the negative.
Did I write about wacky hair day yesterday? I think I forgot to mention it. Actually, I can't remember if I did or not, but I went to school with pigtails. Anyhow, my sister taught me how to put in a pony tail then, and I've got a pony tail in right now and its sweet. Feels different, like I don't have hair! (Except for the pulling at the nape of my neck.) (ha, you ape! Apetastic!)
I should be writing the rough draft for my essay of definition. Oh well, so much for that! Maybe I will right now.
Ha, I just started trying to write that essay, and it is waaay too late for that. I really just need to sleep, and do it tomorrow. It isn't that late yet, but I have been a very sleep deprived little child (jk on the little child) lately.

Turkey for dinner, and other things.
Click here to read about my incident with a turkey today.
Well, in other news...
Went mountainboarding for a tad bit, but due to several factors such as a)riding same trails over and over b)riding by myself for the past (about) 3 months c)not bringing my most pertinent tool, I decided to go home after only about a half an hour and lift for a while. That was pretty fun, so I think I made the right decision.
I also had an interesting expierience early on in the day when I asked Mr. Worachek for some songs for morning music. If you have read some of the founding Randomer writings, then you know about me and Mr. Worachek. But I ended up getting some medieval songs to go along with the homecoming theme. I'll probably right a big thing about my expieriences with morning music some time soon. But for now, good night.

1st Official Blog
School was pretty drab today. Lots of work, no play.
This evening, I did get to go mountainbiking for about an hour and a half; and it was amazing! I like sports. I like working out... its just a great feeling! Dad and I were going to lift weights yet this evening, but I don't think it is going to happen. I feel way too lazy for that.
Any how, back to mountainbiking. Right at the end of my ride, I just slammed my front tire into a big mud hole that I didn't really notice, and I just got coated with mud. Ok I confess, it really wasn't that bad, but I did get mud all over my shins when I wasn't expecting it.
I wonder how this blog thing is going to go. I don't know... I think Randomer will just degenerate into Goo's blog called Randomer, and I don't know that that's what I want. We shall see what we shall see.

I am so sick of English class. I have two English classes back to back 7th and 8th hours for all of first semester. First quarter is almost over, and it is really starting to tell. I can’t handle it. It is just too much English. My nerves are starting to get frayed, all I care about is skiing, and English is just getting to me. 7th and 8th hours are my worst hours, too, because all I am thinking about is getting out of school, and I cannot concentrate on English. I totally bombed the last essay in Advanced Composition, and I have to turn that short 500 word essay into about a 1500 word essay by Monday, and I haven’t added anything yet. And this weekend is the Fall Fantastico (yes!) and that will suck up all of my time tonight and tomorrow.
But really, doubling up on English is a bad idea. I really wanted (well not really really, but decided I should) take these 2 classes, and they are both only offered 1st semester.
Why am I not posting this as a blog? Well, it does have a central theme running through it; not just “um, I worked a lot today,” and because it is “Randomer.” Hey, I thought of a great catch-phrase/slogan for Randomer: “A running commentary on life.” Now if Randomer was a running commentary on life, that would be amazing. That’s is what Randomer should evolve into: a running commentary on life (with mountainboarding videos). That would almost be too limiting. No, maybe it wouldn’t. I will ponder this.
While I’m at it, I am currently pondering moving the bulk of my website to my home computer.
Reasons for:
1. No popups
2. Limitless space
3. No uploading (if I’m at home)
4. More options
The most prominent being no popups. How annoying are the popups to all of you? They really annoy me. Leave a comment with your opinion.
Reasons against:
1. Sphosting server is more reliable than my home computer
2. Limited/no stat tracking services
3. Will not be able to work on website unless I’m in Neillsville
4. No messageboard/will still have to rely on the sphosting message board. It wouldn’t be completely self sufficient. Not that my website is right now, because all the images are hosted on photobucet, and videos on either google or youtube.
Those are my thoughts. Leave a comment if you have any profound insights.
I should probably start working on that English essay.

This past Saturday a couple of my friends and I got the opportunity to go to a hockey game with our youth pastor, Al. It was my first time going to a sporting event at any level higher than minor league baseball, and it was only the second hockey game I had ever watched. Needless to say, it was quite an experience.
I am guessing that this is pretty much always true, but watching hockey was a whole lot more fun live than it had been on TV. You could really hear the thud of the player getting checked into the boards, the skates as they cut on the ice.
It is also quite a bit different from football, because there is always a lot of action. I frequently found myself missing something somewhere because I was too busy watching the puck and missed somebody getting beaten into the boards on a different end of the rink. At times I was surprised that the ferocity exhibited was even legal. Don’t get me wrong it was awesome, but compared to the sports that I’m used to watching on TV and such it was brutal. Even in football flags are called on every little thing, and in basketball or soccer or ultimate frissbee, contact is strictly prohibited. Yet in hockey there’ll be two or three players just grappling for the control of the puck for an extended period of time and just getting viscious. I wish we had a hockey team in Neillsville, because that looks like a sport I could get into! One of the main reasons I do “extreme” sports such as skiing and mountainboarding is because of the almost total absence of rules. (And when I mountainboard, there are no rules at all; so that totally suits me. I should go mountainboarding tomorrow.)
The other thing that really impressed me was how involved the student section got. It was like me at a concert, only about 1,500x or so and at a sporting event. They spent more time standing and dancing than they did in their seats. Significantly more, actually. (Wow, big words don’t really fit this thingy I’m writing.) They really got into it. Now if we had all those students getting that into it in a mosh pit... THAT would be intense! It would be like moshing madness: mosh-tastic.
Check out one of those stupid blog things that I did:
